Fermented Elderberry

Revered throughout history, elderberry has recently soared in popularity, especially for seasonal health.

The fruit of the Sambucus, or European elder plant, European black elderberry contains unique polyphenol compounds, called anthocyananins, that offer broad immune support benefits along with extremely high-antioxidant activity properties.

Elderberry contains:

• Nearly four times the anthocyanins as other commonly consumed berries.
• A unique anthocyanin profile including cyanidin-3-glucoside, cyanidin-3,5-diglucoside, cyanidin-3-sambubioside and syanidin-3-sambubioside-5-glucoside.
• Important flavonoids like quercetin, delphinidin and catechins.

Research shows that a higher consumption of anthocyanins may be linked to an already healthy inflammatory response, optimal cardiovascular and cellular health, improvement in insulin resistance, restored glucose tolerance and lower body weight.*

Our Fermented Elderberry is a unique blend of two forms of organic elderberry for year-round immune support:

• 500 mg Organic Fermented Whole-Fruit Elderberry Powder
• 250 mg Organic Elderberry Extract, standardized with a minimum of 13% anthocyanins and a minimum phenol level of 17%

Because we use fermented whole-fruit elderberry powder in our formula, we’ve been able to reduce the sugar content to 1 gram of net carbs per one capsule dose – in stark contrast to some other high-sugar content elderberry supplements on the market today.
